Fire safety song

We started off this week with fire safety.  I use the kit I got when I took a training for it.  The song I found online.  It will be in the curriculum section.  It was short and to the point. 
The sheets that you see are clings with a fireman and pictures of what children can play with and not touch.  You put a star on the things that are for children and a circle with a line on of the dangerous ones. 
Being that Hero was in school now I wanted Dolly and Bugs to get use to the fire alarm with out him and what they need to do.  So I set the alarm off and we ran to the door.  Hayseed could care less.  So I made a point and grabbed him and ran to the door.  I hope he catches on.  We'll be doing this all week.

This morning I had sometime to fold a few towels while the little hands were playing.  It feels good to hear the giggles when they play. 
But soon they were coming upstairs to see what I was doing.  I just love how they chime "What are you doing Barb?"  So after telling them they would ask "Can I help?"  How can I say no to that.  So 1 by 1 I handed them the towels and they carried them to the bathroom.  What teamwork.
